Digestive Enzyme Capsules

Maltodextrin is a polysaccharide made by partially hydrolyzing starch (from corn, potato, or rice). In cosmetics, it works as an absorbent, binding agent, film-former, emulsion stabilizer, and skin conditioner—helping lotions and creams hold together, improving texture, and giving a soft, smooth feel without being irritating. It’s generally safe when used at typical levels (about 1-2%) in skincare.

Vegetable capsules (also called vegetarian or plant-based capsules) are shells made from plant-derived materials—most commonly hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) or modified cellulose—rather than animal-based gelatin. They’re used to encase powders, granules, or other supplement ingredients, offering a vegan/vegetarian-friendly, odorless and tasteless delivery form. They’re generally well tolerated, stable in various conditions (less sensitive to moisture/temperature than gelatin in many cases), and compatible with many active ingredients.

Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) are fats made up of fatty acids with 6–12 carbon atoms. Compared to long-chain fats, they are more easily digested, absorbed quickly, and transported directly to the liver, where they can be used for energy or converted into ketones. Studies suggest that MCTs may help reduce body fat, improve weight loss, support brain energy (especially under low carbohydrate conditions), modestly improve blood sugar control, and promote feeling full. In skincare and cosmetics, MCTs are used as lightweight emollients that help moisturize, improve product texture, and serve as carriers for other active ingredients.
