Zinc Picolinate
Zinc picolinate is a chelated form of zinc bound to picolinic acid, which enhances its absorption compared to some other zinc salts. It serves as a cofactor in over 300 enzymes and is essential for immune health, tissue repair, antioxidant protection, and maintaining skin, hair, and nail integrity. It also supports reproductive and hormonal functions, cognitive performance, and wound healing. When used appropriately, it's well tolerated, although high doses over time can interfere with absorption of other minerals (such as copper), and may cause gastrointestinal discomfort if taken on an empty stomach
